My name is Andrew, and I love to travel. Like most Americans, I spent my twenties going to school and working long hours at a handful of different jobs. While I enjoyed this time in my life, I longed to experience more. After some serious thought (and planning), I made the decision to take a break from the world of employment to spend time with friends and family, and to travel to all of the places I’ve been too busy to visit.
I created this blog to share my stories, photos and travel tips. My travel style ranges from swanky (e.g., staying in the Intercontinental and flying business class) to close to a hobo (e.g., cooking my lunch under a bridge and sleeping in my car). I’m caught somewhere between the two extremes, and that is why I named my blog hoboish.
Thank you for reading and happy travels!
